SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE CHAIR LETTER
"On behalf of the board and sustainability committee, I am pleased to present MinRes' Sustainability Report for the 2025 financial year."
Lawrie Tremaine | Sustainability Committee Chair
It is a privilege to have joined MinRes and to serve as Chair of the Sustainability Committee. I recognise the challenges our business and the broader resources industry has faced over the past year and, with this in mind, I reaffirm our commitment to operating ethically and sustainably.
As a proud Western Australian company, we recognise the unique landscapes and communities in which we operate. By communicating our performance transparently, we hold ourselves accountable while continually seeking ways to improve and reduce our impact on the environment and communities that host us.
This year, we realigned our approach to the way we do business with a refreshed set of values and a clear vision. Together, we’re focused on behaviours that grow our culture and shape positive relationships between our employees, shareholders, clients and partners. We’re committed to realising our vision of being a global leader in innovative resource project design, delivery and operation by embodying our values of care, unity, agility, integrity and courage.
We continue to consider our people instrumental to our success. Despite a reduction in our overall workforce due to changing market conditions and sites entering care and maintenance, we continue to implement initiatives to support our people and improve health, wellbeing and safety.
Our
Sustainability
Approach
MinRes’ sustainability reporting is guided by several voluntary initiatives, memberships, standards and goals to ensure comprehensive and transparent disclosure of our sustainability performance. Refer to each initiative’s index in our 2025 Sustainability Performance Tables.

OUR FUTURE DISCLOSURE COMMITMENTS
Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS)
MinRes will report in accordance with the Australian Accounting Standards Board’s (AASB) newly issued AASB S2 Climate-related Disclosures (AASB S2 or S2).
In preparation, MinRes is working on a project plan to further understand the impact of climate on MinRes’ strategy, strengthen our climate-related governance, integrate climate-related risks and opportunities into business-as-usual processes, and increase the maturity of our data and systems.
In support of this project plan, a working group and steering committee comprised of senior leadership from across the business has been established to provide ongoing feedback and review.
Senior leadership, including chief executives, have attended capability uplift sessions to increase the level of climate knowledge across the business.
MinRes is currently undergoing a pre-assurance program with the company’s external auditor to assist with identifying any further gaps that may need to be addressed across FY26.
Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures
The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) outlines recommendations that encourage and enable businesses to assess and report on their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities. MinRes continues to work towards alignment with the TNFD framework. Refer to Biodiversity for further information.
